(For the record, I actually like, and have been known at times to crave, astronaut ice cream. So not everyone thinks it has to go, as this video suggests.)

RonpurI actually like the Space Dots they have at KSCVC!

In fact, Jerry Ross was asked about ice cream in space at the Astronaut Encounter I was at last week. He said they never used the "Astronaut Ice Cream" and did take the real stuff up on a Mir flight in a freezer to give to the crew. And they were nice enough to share it with the shuttle crew.
